We love all of our subscribers

That’s right, all of them. Watching the number grow lets us know when we’re on the right track. Noticing one or two fall away makes us think of ways we can get better. The subscriber list began as 60 people Erica M would email each time yeah write (then called “lovelinks”) opened then it migrated to Mail Chimp with 70 people. We may not have numbers in the tens of thousands, but with our challenge grid regulars, speakeasy writers and poets, NaBloPoMo bloggers, the new moonshine grid and returning readers/lurkers, we have quite an active community, and we thank you for helping us build it by enthusiastic word of mouth.

If you’re not already on our subscriber list, let’s fix that. Sign up here.

We put out the call

There are about 10 editors now working behind the scenes at yeah write making sure yeah write remains the best place on the Interwebs for writers who blog and bloggers who write. Some of us teach, some of us promote, others of us keep it organized. Rare is the email to us that goes unanswered, an issue we won’t help resolve. We’ve talked people off the ledge, pushed some over one (comfort zones are for newborn babies) and fought to keep yeah write fair on voting day. All of those efforts require resources up to this point carved from household budgets, not corporate ones. So when we asked for help, our subscribers, our lifelines, answered.

Monthly subscription plans

You can read about the individual subscription plans here on this page, and all of the perks listed will be provided to our supporting subscribers upon request. We lined up dinner last night in New Jersey to give Michelle Longo her wet, sloppy kiss from two yeah write editors, one of whom flew in from North Carolina. We mean what we say and say what we mean—don’t test us lightly.

One anonymous donor has bought a 12-month subscription just for you

Thanks for spreading the word of yeah write. If you’ve brought a yeah write virgin to the challenge grid during the very next time we hit our grid limit of 50 bloggers, your name will be entered into a drawing for the donated 12-month subscription. Besides the wet, sloppy kiss on the mouth, upon request, you’ll get:

[unordered_list style=”arrow”]

      • a text link in selected weekly sponsor highlight posts
      • a custom editorial on one selected yeah write challenge grid entry (worth $40 USD)
      • a quick and dirty evaluation of 12 planned submissions to the challenge grid, an average of one planned submission each month, before the weekly challenge grids open

[/unordered_list]

Just let us know who’s your virgin in comments of the Tuesday “yeah write is open” post and, if we hit 50 bloggers, the drawing will take place in time for the Friday winners’ post of that week.

Thank you for supporting yeah write

With enough supporting subscribers, yeah write will continue to help the smaller bloggers find their tribes and refine the art of online storytelling for years to come. If you’ve benefited in any way from the community here at yeah write—whether it was meeting your new best friend or introducing your blog to hundreds of readers—please consider keeping us afloat. We’ll be here for you as long as you are here for us.

Thank you from your yeah write editors.
