Last chance to dance!
Those of you who didn’t grow up in the southern U.S. like I did have no idea what I’m talking about what with your fancy all-night establishments that stayed open past 2 a.m. I’m sure if you felt like it right now, you’d still be partying at Brad Suffian’s bar mitzvah reception from 1984. We Southerners had to go home.
Speaking of all good things coming to an end before they get better—or something like that—this week’s lovelinks is the final week of open submissions. Link up, get your friends to link up. Next week will be only for the bloggers who moved on from lovelinks #23 through lovelinks #25, also known as Week 1 through Week 3.
It’s been a wild, fun ride, these past few weeks. If you’re just now finding out about the contest, no worries. Read the FAQs here and, if you have any questions, feel free to email me. You can also ask questions in comments and someone will be happy to help you figure it all out.
If we get to 100 entries, 12 blogs will make it to the final week. Spread the word, y’all, and make it happen. When math is finally on your side, you should take full advantage.
Don’t forget: your full-fledged participation in visiting, reading and commenting on other lovelinked blogs will help your cause. Why? Because everybody gets three votes and don’t you want one of them? Surely, once you bond with your new BFF, that’s a possible vote, right? [IMPORTANT UPDATE] I screwed up the backlink and wasn’t able to correct it for six-and-a-half hours into the submissions being open (I was sleeping!) so instead of submissions closing at midnight Thursday, they will close Thursday morning at 6:30. Voting will be from Thursday 6:30 am to Friday 6:30 am. All times U.S. eastern daylight, -4 GMT]
These posts are hilarious! I am loving going through and reading all of them. Even the tougher sadder ones. Kudos for expressing that.
