Happy birthday, YeahWrite!
We’ve been making words together for ten years, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by making more words… out loud, with you! Join the YeahWrite editorial staff and your fellow YeahWriters on Friday, April 16 and/or Saturday, April 17 for the first-ever birthday party to feature our actual faces.
We’ll start each session with a one-hour moderated panel where the editors answer your questions, followed by some time to just hang out and get to know each other. Funny hats or costumes are optional but greatly appreciated! Pets and babies are also welcome (and expected).
Who:
- The YeahWrite editorial staff (in various combinations, since we’re spread across several time zones and more than one continent)
- Your fellow YeahWriters
- And you!
What:
- Ask YeahWrite editors anything (well. within reason) by submitting your questions when you RSVP or during the session via our Discord chat.
- Get a chance to introduce yourself—with or without a short reading—after the panel!
- Or just lurk—some of us are introverts too! Cameras are always optional. (Subtitles aren’t available for this event, sorry)
When:
- Friday, April 16, 6:00 PM US Pacific Time (1:00 AM GMT)
- Saturday, April 17, 10:00 AM US Pacific Time (5 PM GMT)
- Attend one or both parties!
Where:
- Online via Zoom—you’ll need an internet connection and a device that can manage Zoom.
- An email will be sent out to all registered attendees before the event with the link.
