It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open
Even though early registration has passed for the super challenge, there’s still time to sign up! Registration is open until 11:59pm ET on July 6. This six week, three-round competition will help you develop as a writer and storyteller, and my favorite part is that participants will receive detailed feedback on their entries. The cash prize is up to $100 for first place, but will increase with the number of participants, so make sure you spread the word!
Just do it
In the meantime, we’ve got this joint set up for you for your weekend fun writing. If you have a long-form essay about your grandmother’s Fourth of July strudel, or a short story about a fictionalized soldier from the Revolutionary War, or a poem outlining all the reasons you hate fireworks, or even a post revived from 2010 about the time your BBQ set the bushes on fire, this is the place for you. The only rule for posting here is no commercial or sponsored posts.
