A little help from your friends

Join YeahWrite editors for virtual coworking hours throughout the summer! We’ll open up a Zoom, make some introductions, talk about what we want to accomplish during the session, and spend an hour or so working quietly on our individual projects. Towards the end, we’ll check in and see how we did. Some editors may choose to run writing sprints or guided discussions. You’ll get to know each other and the YeahWrite staff, and maybe make some headway on your goals.

A few ground rules:

The purpose of the coworking sessions is to get some writing-related work done. This could mean working on a draft story or book, working on your author website, writing query letters, researching for your WIP, or even reorganizing your writing space. The check-in at the end is to keep everyone accountable! That being said, we’re not your math teacher: we won’t make you show your work.

Reservations not required! Zoom links are posted in the calendar below. Keep an eye on the schedule, as it may change as editors’ schedules change. We’ll post updates in Discord and in the Coffeehouse on Facebook.

Once we settle in to write, please keep the chatter to a minimum. We’ll have time for socializing at the beginning and end. We’ll keep the chat open in case you want to drop comments or links there.

Cameras are not required, but they are appreciated. Same goes for listing your pronouns in your display name.

As always, YeahWrite respects the diversity and dignity of our community. Comments that insult or demean any person based on race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or other similar traits will result in removal from the Zoom call and possible exclusion from future events.
