Yeah write is open on the weekend!
Will you stand up and take your chance and find some new-to-you-blogs to read?
The spirit of our humble little cheese shop will still be here, just with extra espresso and without any of the editors leading writing or crafts sessions. Please make the rounds and visit the other blogs on the grid, join the conversation on the ones you like.
Meet your rowmies and your columnites
It’s unlimited entries, so if it gets overwhelming eventually, you can stealborrow one of our tactics from yeah write’s NaBloPoMo back in November 2012: commit to reading every blog in your row and do your best to read each one in your column. It’s the yeah write way to lay hands on as many bloggers as we can once they hit the grid. That takes everyone’s cooperation and that’s what makes us awesome.
Grab the moonshine grid badge from the sidebar. If you don’t add it to the post you’re planning to submit, the Inlinkz app will give you a weird error message. Copy the code from beneath the badge, add the code to the HTML view of your post draft window then hit publish. Come back and submit your link using the blue “add your link” button at the bottom of the array of thumbnails (called “the grid”). Then start your weekend moonshining. The moonshine grid will close by Monday at 12:01 a.m. eastern time.
Acceptable submissions
Nearly whatever. No sponsored or commercial posts, but other than that, we’re open to what you got. Be interesting. Add trigger alerts for depression- or suicide-related posts. Add spoiler alerts for television show and movie commentaries. Be funny. Make lists. Ramble on. Inform us. Teach us. Make us think. Be human, be generous, be considerate of your readers.
Yeah write #96 moonshine grid is open…
[hr]
I am not able to get my post linked up for some reason. I see my pingback is there but I get a message saying that I have not entered a backlink to the submission? Any idea what is going on? Thanks
Did you alter the coding of the moonshine grid badge? In the one in the sidebar, the permalink is /moonshine/ which matches the backlink requirement of the Inlinkz app. But the badge on your post links to /moonshine-96/
I bet I did. I will change that. TY
Well this is fun!
