It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open
I walked through Target last weekend, and behold, school supplies and admonishments to spend hard-earned dollars on back-to-school clothing hung above every department. As I wandered the aisles picking up coffee and granola, I thought to myself, where did the summer go? It’s rapidly approaching its demise, which means we’ve got to rally together and enjoy as much of the freedom and sunshine as possible, before the leaves change and we all return to the grind.
Yeah write weekly writing challenge 2014 summer series is still open!
The summer series is winding down, but it’s still open for business. All the grids (except for the moonshine) have combined into one amazing supergrid and we’ve got writing workshops, a community-based peer review space and a fun hangout all ready for you. We’re running this summer camp until August 22, and each week, we will bring you articles on specific writing-related topics, with the goal of helping everyone in the yeah write family become better writers. By the way, you still have time to vote for your favorite post on this week’s supergrid, which closes at 6pm tonight. Make sure you head over and give the best post a nudge!
Moonshine ways are the best ways
Before you link up your post to this week’s moonshine, let’s review the rules:
There aren’t any rules.
Yep, you heard that correctly. We accept listicles, short-stories, poetry, a photo-challenge post, a long one, a short one, a post from the archives — whatever you want! That’s what the moonshine is all about. Freedom, a good time, and a jug of something strong.
Well, okay, I lied — there is ONE rule:
No sponsored or commercial posts. Other than that, the sky’s the limit!
This is the badge you are looking for
Over in the left sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:
Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
