It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open
Hey there sports fans! Has anyone else been watching the World Cup? Seeing as I’m a former pro-soccer player, of course I’ve been watching. Well, okay, maybe I wasn’t pro, but I did make the JV team my freshman year, only to be sidelined by a knee injury. I know, it was terribly tragic. It always happens to the best.
So to get the weekend started off right, here’s my favorite moment of World Cup history:
Moonshine on the menu
Get ready for some weekend reading here at the moonshine, where the rules are few and the booze runs free. You can bring pretty much anything to the moonshine grid. Do you have a post that was over the word count for the grid? Bring it. A killer poem that didn’t answer the speakeasy prompt? Bring it. A post from a few years back that you’d like to rerun? Bring. It. We welcome all posts here except sponsored or commercial posts.
This is the badge you are looking for.
Over in the right sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:
Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. Italians everywhere hate French everywhere because of that incident.
Was that the last World Cup? I remember it happening but can’t remember when it happened 🙂 Gotta love the French! PS – I switched my back-up team from Argentina to France since I want to live there and used to speak French pretty damn well. Makes sense, right?
2006, Arden. I was in France at the time, and that was the year they played against Italy in the finals and lost. Ever since then, France has been my team.
And it makes total sense to me, but then I’m a total Francophile.
Ouch! I can’t believe he used his head.
Right? I remember being so shocked when I saw it live.
