It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open
Hey there! So who’s going to a party this weekend? Does anyone have any raging plans? My own weekend is going to be filled with non-fun grown-up activities, so I want to live vicariously through you. Museums? Weekend getaways? Concerts? Tell me all about it. I’ll be listening from the comfort of my ratty Ikea sofa, probably drinking some non-alcoholic moonshine. I’m saving the hard stuff for you guys.
Crack open that bottle
Alright, so here’s the deal. At the moonshine grid, we don’t need to bring our best posts. It’s not a contest, just a chance to hang out with each other and read some lighter fare. There aren’t any prompts or word count specifications, nor any preferred formats. Heck, even a post from last year that maybe didn’t get enough lovin’ the first go-round can post here. We only have one rule to keep you rabble-rousers in line: no commercial or sponsored posts. Other than that, just have fun.
And then there were penguins
Everyone knows a writer’s work isn’t done after that last sentence: edit, edit, edit! If your challenge grid submission was returned with a love letter, then you can earn a chance to win a mug featuring ML Philpott from I Miss You When I Blink‘s random penguins. If you incorporate Obed’s suggested revisions, you can resubmit your post here at the moonshine grid for a chance at one of these bad boys. The editors have been eyeing the last few, so get them while supplies last.
Shipping available only to winner with US or Canada mailing address.
This is the badge you are looking for.
Over in the right sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:
Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
I linked up an oooold post. I hope that’s okay. It’s been on my mind lately.
More than okay! All posts are welcome. 🙂
I’m about to Google “rare crayons” at my son’s insistence. We are 100% focused on crayons over here this weekend and if I’m not around to write Monday’s post, it’s because crayons have caused me to lose my mind.
Well, they ARE important, Michelle.
No plans this weekend, besides trying to finish up some work. I’ll just be chugging along with the rest of you. 🙂
Ah, well at least I’m not alone in the grown-up activities.
WOW!! It actually linked up the FIRST TRY!!…LOL. *Happy Weekend* Moonshiners!
*Hugs & Blessings, Author Cat Lyon* 🙂
Thanks for hanging out with us!
For his 8th birthday, sir Miles has requested a trip to the Natural History Museum on Sunday and I’m not only proud, I’m stoked! It’s one of my favorite places. So there will indeed be some museum action goin’ down this weekend. 🙂
That is exactly the kind of thing I want to hear! Great taste, kiddo. Have fun, and say hi to the city for me. 🙂
