It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open

Part of the writing process is an openness to criticism, developing an otter-like pelt that allows you to absorb feedback while the rejection rolls off you like water. It’s not easy, this business of writing. It’s progressive and stretching, and quite frequently painful. But those who are meant to stick with this form of artwork, this practice of plucking words from the thick soup of our minds and force them into what we will, grow to love the process. Well, love it and hate it. Yet we keep going back, pulled by something we mostly don’t understand. It can get intense.

Sometimes we need a break

Of course, even the best of writers need a break from improvement and good ol’ fashioned hard work. This is where the moonshine grid comes in. We can link up the posts that require little effort if we feel like it. There are no word count limitations, no prompts, no date requirements. You can link up an older post, or a list post, or a stream-of-consciousness post, or one about your favorite cocktail (with recipe). The only rule here is no commercial or sponsored posts.

Penguins for rewrites

There is a reward for rewrite elbow grease. If your challenge grid submission was returned with a love letter, then you have a chance to win a mug with ML Philpott from I Miss You When I Blink‘s random penguinsIf you incorporate Obed’s suggested revisions, then resubmit your post here at the moonshine grid, you will have a chance to win one of these bad boys. We love those of you who show up week after week and try your hardest to improve, and this is our way to show you that love.

Shipping available only to winner with US or Canada mailing address.

This is the badge you are looking for.

Over in the right sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:
