We had a concentrated week here at lovelinks. Twenty-three blogs to read, three lovelinks virgins. It was a tight contest filled with really good choices. It was a tough vote for everybody involved.
The popular vote winner was Julie at Mama Mash with her post about her toddler’s touchdown dance also known as poop in the end zone. I like to make fun of mommy bloggers’ posts about Junior’s poop as the dubious hallmark of mommyblogging, but Julie’s poop post was entertaining and involved American football. Win-win. Tadow.
Lindsey at Campfire Song earned the editor’s choice this week with her post Dear Me, an affirming letter to her 10-year-old self.
Talk until someone listens. Keep talking. Don’t stop expressing yourself just because someone doesn’t like it. Your perspective is as important as that of anyone else.
My 10-year-old self could have used that advice instead of the “don’t you ever stop talking?” I usually got from parents and teachers.
Thanks to everyone who linked up this week. We all would love to be voted #1, but as a perennial 2nd placer, let me say: most of the fun is playing along. Please come back next week. Bring friends.
The blogs are sorted in order of most votes to least votes in the matrix below. In the case of a tie, like if four blogs each got seven votes, the tied blogs are sorted by highest number of page views received.
Lovelinks #30 opens Tuesday.
Congrats Julie and Lindsey!
Thank you everybody!
Congratulations @mama_mash and @dashingly! 🙂
Congratulations Julie and Lindsey!
Yayy Julie! Nothin beats a good poopin story! Congrats!! Congrats to you too Lindsey. Both great posts.
Thanks for letting me know! I agree with Erica, a poop story is definitely a mommyblog milestone.
At least I didn’t photograph the actual poop, people. Give me that. 🙂
Thanks for the votes y’all. I appreciate the support!
Lindsey, I agreed with your post. Go with your gut.
