This was the most challenging lovelinks in the history of lovelinks.

There were so many good blog posts, it was hard to for voters to choose only three favorites, and it was tough for me to decide on one editor’s choice.

Popular vote winner: Mommy2¢

Editor’s choice: A Morning Grouch

Mommy2¢ wrote about her daughter Sissy’s act of kindness toward a friend in her kindergarten class, and maybe I speak on behalf of those who voted for her as I hope our children, nieces and nephews are able to find friends like Sissy when they are feeling unsure of themselves. I’ve enjoyed watching Mommy2¢ grow as a writer since she first stumbled over lovelinks. Her enthusiasm on Twitter is contagious, and she’s jumped into the social part of blogging as well as any professional. Congrats on your first win, Mommy2¢!

Lovelinks virgin A Morning Grouch won for a captivating economy of words in her prose piece A Bit of Gray Peeking Out. She had really stiff competition. I mean really stiff competition. But, man, we’ve gotta teach ourselves to let go of what’s holding us back and grip instead the promise that something better is waiting for us. The end of AMG’s piece reminded me of that promise. Congrats on the win, AMG!

Thanks to everyone who linked up this week. We all would love to be voted #1, but as a perennial 2nd placer, let me say: most of the fun is playing along. Please come back next week.

The blogs are sorted in order of most votes to least votes in the matrix below. In the case of a tie, like if four blogs each got seven votes, the tied blogs are sorted by highest number of page views received since Tuesday.

Lovelinks #29 opens Tuesday.
