It’s that time again—thank you!

Have you heard this week kicks off yeah write #100 and the day of yeah write #104, yeah write will be two years old? That’s right: 104 consecutive weeks without a hiatus or a mental break (does it show?) or any downtime whatsoever. Our community has always been so supportive. Whenever we’ve needed someone to jump in to give an individual editor some time off, the call has never gone unanswered. We are so grateful for our tribe’s willingness  to pitch in, to teach, to contribute in any way it can to encourage writers who blog and bloggers who write.

Thanks some more

It’s always been our way of saying thanks for writing, for reading, for hanging out with us by sharing your challenge grid, speakeasy, and, now, the new weekend moonshine posts through other social media outlets.

  • If you’re on Twitter, we personally share your grid post at least twice: once to get it read, then again to get it some votes.
  • Many of our people love Facebook, and the most compelling narratives are shared by our readers in their timelines, broadening the reach of yeah write.
  • If you’re on the grid, we share your post on Google Plus whether you use G+ or not.
  • Plus, our own traffic here at yeah write is nothing to sneeze at. Bring your best stuff and somebody is gonna visit your space and chat with you for a while.

If you have a smaller blog looking for an audience, and you are willing to follow a few submission guidelines specifically designed to make yeah write a better place for everyone involved, this is the spot for you. Thanks for subscribing and growing our community.

What? Even more thanks? Thanks!

If you’re not already a supporting subscriber or your subscription has expired, please visit our supporting subscriber page to review all the subscription plans and their various perks. Since we’ve started offering the goodies to those helping us keep the lights on, the editors have:

[unordered_list style=”star”]

  • previewed challenge grid entries, providing suggestions for strengthening the subscribers’ narratives and making their entries more competitive
  • lined up comprehensive blog evaluations for design and content
  • arranged for a complete blog redesign and migration from Blogger to WordPress
  • given out countless wet and sloppy kisses or at least paid for lunch

Please visit and follow our current supporting subscribers

Some of them are continuing their support from last month, some of them are new supporting subscribers. They are all awesome.

One anonymous donor has bought a 12-month subscription just for you

Thanks for spreading the word of yeah write. If you’ve brought a yeah write virgin to the challenge grid during the very next time we hit our grid limit of 50 bloggers, your name will be entered into a drawing for the donated 12-month subscription. Besides the wet, sloppy kiss on the mouth, upon request, you’ll get:

[unordered_list style=”arrow”]

      • a text link in selected weekly sponsor highlight posts
      • a custom editorial on one selected yeah write challenge grid entry (worth $40 USD)
      • a quick and dirty evaluation of 12 planned submissions to the challenge grid, an average of one planned submission each month, before the weekly challenge grids open

[/unordered_list]

Just let us know who’s your virgin in comments of the Tuesday “yeah write is open” post and, if we hit 50 bloggers, the drawing will take place in time for the Friday winners’ post of that week.

Thank you for supporting yeah write

With enough supporting subscribers, yeah write will continue to help the smaller bloggers find their tribes and refine the art of online storytelling for years to come. If you’ve benefited in any way from the community here at yeah write—whether it was meeting your new best friend or introducing your blog to hundreds of readers—please consider keeping us afloat. We’ll be here for you as long as you are here for us.

Thank you from your yeah write editors.
