Getting crafty at the yeah write #60 hangout grid…
Think of the hangout grid as your cozy neighborhood pub where writers gather together each week to toast each other’s smart use of language and skillful story creation.
This is where we support creative writing endeavors and challenge each other to green Jello shots and improving our craft. This is where we can be free of anxiety and fear because we are all just here to say: You wrote your ass off, we raise our glass to your hard work.
So, add your best work, visit the other writers, give kind and constructive comments–no voting necessary!
And, since you are A Supporter Of Writers, you are encouraged to vote for your five faves on the challenge grid. Just be sure to read all the posts so it’s a fair vote.
The more you read, the better you write. It’s a fact, Jack.
Looking for the super cool button badges?
Click the plus sign in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. No, wait, not that high, a little lower. Up and to the right of the row of three social media icons. That plus sign. Click it and the hidden widget will appear. Grab the codes and add them to the HTML view of the post you’re planning to add to this week’s grid.

I keep trying to add my post to the grid and each time, I get this message:
“The link you entered does not contain a backlink to this site
Please create a backlink to this site to be allowed to enter your own link”
My blog post DOES have a badge and link so I’m not sure why I’m getting the error. I’ve entered twice in the past and never had this issue.
You had me at “green jello shots.” Of course, then again, you already had me anyway. You just have me more now.
Pip’s on the grid! WOOT!
