Here we are on day 31! Did you make it all the way through?
If you hit each topic on each of the 31 days as we were following the ProBlogger series, congratulations! If you didn’t, that’s okay. It was a lot of good stuff to digest in one month, especially during the summer when warm weather travel has our attention.
Here’s a link to the yeah write 31dbbb archive. Sift through, select what’s useful to you and continue to encourage others as they are improving their spaces.

Thanks for a great 2013 yeah write summer series. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Don’t forget to visit the bloggers competing in this week’s writing challenge over on the #120 challenge grid.
I meant to write on this FOREVER ago – I’m still only around Day 12 or so, but I’m going through the archives still and planning on still doing the challenges, even if I post about it or not. I’m so grateful to have found this community – I love the size of it and I love how supportive it is. It was great that we were all doing this together and helping each other out.
I’m literally researching self hosting right now and am really thinking about taking the plunge this weekend and migrating over. I was going to wait to see how successful I was at keeping this blog up, but I don’t foresee myself giving it up any time soon, so I think it would be a good investment to migrate over. I would’ve never thought about doing it unless I had found this site!
Thank you for all the wonderful help on the 31dbbb. This has been wonderful. I have learned a lot in the past 31 days. There were some days, I didn’t think the post was something I needed to incorporate into my blog. Ex: The calender. As the days went on, I realized, I should have been listening to the advice because I am now in the middle of getting a calender set up. I learned a lot about stats, linking, encouraging other bloggers, and stepping outside my comfort zone. Once again, your hard work is very appreciated.
I know I joined very late in the game, but I still wanted to take the time to say thanks for creating such a wonderfully helpful and generous community. I’ve learned so much over the past couple of weeks and have diligently read through the archives of the days I missed to make sure I’m soaking up as much information as I can. I’ve seen my own writing really grow from this experience and will miss the challenges and guidance. I would be interested in a tutorial on creating a newsletter and more tips for engaging online audiences. You have all been great and I’ll miss Yeah Write’s 31DBBB this August, but I feel much more confident about the shape and content of my blog moving forward. Thanks again!
Thank you to all of the editors, the post authors and participants for making 31dbbb such a great experience. I’ve learned so much from everyone and truly appreciated the spirit of support available all month long. I look forward to continuing to improve my blog and to seeing the growth and change on fellow yeah writer blogs.
Thanks, everyone!
The 31 days have been fantastic. Thank you for being so committed to making the interwebz a better place for all. I, personally, would like to migrate from Blogger to WordPress (not even sure what the difference is between self-hosted and regular??), but am also terrified. I do own mamarific.com Am willing to pay someone to help, but don’t know what the cost would be, or if I can afford it, at this point. Or if I even have the energy, between potty training the toddler and a mouthy 3rd grader, to deal with it. 🙂
This has been a really great experience for me, and I’m super glad I joined up. The guidance helped a lot and I don’t think I would have gotten my butt in gear nearly as quickly and regularly without the motivation to work at it daily. It has been a whirlwind: I started my blog just a couple weeks before the challenge started, I joined YW, I joined Twitter, I got Freshly Pressed, I frantically read and commented on lots of fellow YWers blogs, I got “editor’s pick,” and just yesterday I wrote a review post about a blog that was, according to Day 29, way more than one step above mine, and the author visited me and retweeted my link! (*^O^*)
I didn’t do quite all of the days, but I did the majority of them, asides from a few things that weren’t relevant or that I haven’t had time to tackle (or finish tackling) yet. Thanks to all the Yeah Write editors and everyone who stopped by my blog to say hi! I love you all! Cheers!
Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed the last month, going to really miss the guidance and motivation.
Blog wise, have had a big revamp already as part of this month but definitely considering self hosting, a change of name and look. Not sure whether I have the skills and confidence for that but small steps.
The other big kick up the bum I need is getting my blog out there and building readership.
Thanks for all the help
I want to migrate to self hosting or just upgrade the look of my tired old blog. I am TERRIFIED, but if you’ll hold my hand and walk me through it, I’ll consider.
Oh, baby… you’ll be OK, I promise!
