It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open
It may be fall on the calendar, but here in SoCal it still feels like the dog days. I’ve got our new AC unit blasting against the promise of 100% humidity and temps beyond reason for late September, and I’ve got sparkling pumpkin cider by my side, so I can at least pretend the season is changing here. For those who come from colder climes, I’ve got hot apple cider on the stove and hand-crocheted blankets at the ready. We’ll get cozy just in time for the weekend.

For a break from the competition, you’ve come to the right place. Relaxing is the priority on the weekends at yeah write, and as such we loosen up on the restrictions. We accept any post you’d like to share; 1300 words on the evils of the weather, a post from 2009 that merits revisiting, a poem you’re working on, or something that didn’t quite make the challenge grid. The only restriction we put on this place is no commercial or sponsored posts.
