It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open
Now that the New Year is here, I have taken to obsessively planning my next trip. Vacations and trips are two entirely different species. Vacations involve beaches and cocktails and relaxing and sleeping in. Trips, on the other hand, are adventures. They involve exploring, awakening at dawn to comb a new city or maybe a historical monument. After a trip, I usually need a vacation.

If you aren’t adventuresomely inclined, then stay right here, because we have all the weekend fun you need. Blog posts of all sorts are welcome to our weekend getaway. Jump in with your attempt at a Petrarchan sonnet, or 3,000 words on the running of the bulls in Pamplona. Toss in your favorite essay from 2008, or perhaps a photo montage of your bird watching tour of Costa Rica. The only no-no here is commercial or sponsored posts.
