It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open

Now that the best holiday of the year is over (sniff), it’s time to start thinking about pie, if you’re American. That’s the only reason November is tolerable for me, in fact–pie. Baked from scratch, preferably pumpkin, but pecan or custard will do in a pinch. If you haven’t had a pie made from scratch, then you haven’t lived. Although if I’m being honest, store-bought is also okay–in a pinch.

Remember, remember

The moonshine is not the place for competitive spirits. This is where we loosen the rules and just read and comment on wonderful blog posts. We accept posts of all kinds, so this means no word count rules, no prompt, no winners. Got a soliloquy you want to share? An open letter? A photo essay on you worm farm? Great, bring `em by! Only please, no sponsored or commercial posts.

Fall writing contest is on!

The November writing contest is now in full swing: the competition is fierce, the writing is supreme, and the fun never stops. We have cash and prizes for the three best in the competition as well as matching prizes for those who refer the winners to us. With so much up for grabs, you’d better jump in soon!

This is the badge you are looking for

Over in the left sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:

moonshine

Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
