It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open

The weekend is FINALLY here. Who here has been checking off the days on their calendars, wishing the time wouldn’t crawl by so slowly? Good, I’m glad I’m not the only one. We’ve got the back room all set up with some new homemade brew, and the party is about to start, so I’m glad you made it in time. Kick off those work boots and come on in.

Changes at yeah write

You may have noticed the fancy new website and all the other changes around the challenge grid and speakeasy, but I had to pop in here and assure you that nothing will change at the moonshine. We like any posts you want to bring us, from humor to tragedy, from long to short, from photo essay to full-on rant. There are no rules at the moonshine, and we aim to keep it that way. Well, I mean, besides the one and only rule that never changes: no commercial or sponsored posts.

Fall season writing contest coming October 19

You know what motivates me more than cash? Almost nothing. So far we have $200 in prizes and we’re working hard to loosen up someone else’s wallet. Consider the weeks leading up to the contest as good practice to get the yeah write way down and then knock us dead with your winning essay. And don’t forget to invite your friends since you could win a prize if your referral wins the contest. It’s all about spreading the love around here!
