It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open

Is everyone just super-pumped for the summer? I’ve got an inflatable pool set up for you guys, and a whole bunch of mixin’s for strong summer drinks in the cooler back here. Cindy R even volunteered to play the mouth harp for us so we could have dancing. Sure, it’s been summer for a few weeks, but it truly feels like summer now because…

Yeah write weekly writing challenge 2014 summer series is open!

Pull up a beach chair and mix yourself a frosty cocktail: the summer series is open for business! All the grids (except for the moonshine) have combined into one amazing supergrid and we’ve got writing workshops, a community-based peer review space and a fun hangout all ready for you. We’re running this summer camp until August 22, and each week, we will bring you articles on specific writing-related topics, with the goal of helping everyone in the yeah write family become better writers.

By the way, you still have time to vote  for your favorite post on this week’s supergrid, which closes at 6pm tonight. Make sure you head over and give the best post a nudge!

So we’ve got summer and we’ve got moonshine — all we need now are your posts! Any post you want can go here. Really, any post. Long, short, listicles, fiction, how-to posts, photo prompts, doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you keep it free from commercial or sponsored posts. That’s our one and only moonshine rule.

This is the badge you are looking for

Over in the right sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:

moonshine

Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
