It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open

I can always tell when it’s the beginning of spring because the air starts to smell perfumed in my neighborhood again, especially in the mornings as I’m walking the dog. The jasmine climbing along the fence, the roses starting to bud along a neighbor’s walkway, the orange blossoms dotting yards all over the neighborhood all whisper one thing: time for spring cleaning. I guess I could have just looked at the top of my fridge to figure that one out, but the other way of discovering springtime is more pleasant. Let me go inhale this bouquet of lavender one last time before I take a Brillo pad to the gunk at the bottom of the oven.

Cleaning House

Those of you who have been brutalized by winter, keep hope–my deep cleaning means the end of the slushy snow is in sight. In the meantime, why don’t you link up with us at the moonshine? We don’t have much in the way of submission criteria here. If you want to write a soliloquy on how much you hate blizzards, there’s a place for it. Say, even if you wanted to write an exemplification essay on the merits of a biannual window washing, we’ll gladly take it. On the weekends at yeah write, there’s no word count limits, no prompts, no sell-by dates–we just ask that you refrain from posting commercial or sponsored posts.

This is the badge you are looking for

Over in the left sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:

Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
