Anticip…….

Hang in there, I’m about to let you know who’s moving on to the final round of the yeah write super challenge, nonfiction edition!

Before I do that, though, writers, a quick reminder – if you don’t have your feedback, please send us an email at superchallenge@yeahwrite.me. As far as we know, everyone has received their email, so check your spam folder if you haven’t seen it yet!

Once again, y’all, we could not have done this without our admin team: Arden, Christine and Stacie. Credit to them, blame to me, OK?

If the first round of the competition tested how well we could tell our own stories, this round showed what happens when we try to reach outside ourselves and coax others to agree with our views. It took some critical reading as well as critical writing to produce a thorough answer, and I hope the feedback you’re getting from the judges is helpful not just in analyzing this essay but in taking a look at patterns in your writing and seeing what you’re doing well and where there’s room for improvement.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

…..ation!

The top ten writers will advance to our final round, but everyone who participated in round two should be proud of getting this far. We’ll release the final round prompt on Friday, and the following writers will have their choice of writing a personal or persuasive essay based on that prompt:

Jolene Belorgey

Donna-Louise Bishop

Melony Boseley

Danielle Dayney

Catherine Keaton

Kelli King

Tamara Oliver

Lisa Shaw

Linda Tharp

Janice Wilberg[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Let me show you my favorite obsession

First of all, finalists, congratulations and keep your eyes peeled for that email Friday at 10pm US Eastern time with your prompt assignment.

Second, all writers are now free to share their round two essay any way they like. Just to make it easy, we’ve made a round two grid. If you want to put your essay on your blog (or anywhere on the ‘net) and link it up here, we’re sharing this grid on this post and the main page for the super challenge. Just click the submission link below and enter the URL where you’ve posted your essay. Please use the same email you used for the super challenge so we know it’s you, and don’t worry if you don’t see your post right away: we’re moderating entries to make sure only our round two writers link up to this grid.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
