It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open

Is anyone else über excited for the summer series? I am just bouncing off the walls here! Well, I guess I could be hyped up because of all the coffee I drank. Hm. Maybe I should start limiting my caffeine intake…

Naw. A girl’s gotta protect her vices.

Anyway, more on that later. Right now, it’s moonshine time. Yes, that’s right, the moonshine grid WILL REMAIN OPEN throughout the summer series, because we’ll need a place to relax on the weekends when not much is happening. See you around this summer!

Moonshine: summer refreshment

Hey, what’s this moonshine place all about? We link up whatever kind of post we feel like, that’s what. There’s a place for your posts with titles like “Top-Twenty Teen Horror Movies of All Time,” “Why Kale is the Best: A Love Poem,” or “1,200 Words on the Galapagos Islands.” You can rerun a post from 2007 (you’ve really been blogging that long??) or maybe one you weren’t confident about posting to the challenge grid. Whatever you’ve got, we want it here. Except for commercial or sponsored posts, which are the only posts we don’t welcome on the moonshine.

Yeah write weekly writing challenge 2014 summer series open for registration

THE SUMMER SERIES STARTS NEXT WEEK! For yeah write’s summer series, the grids will close (except for the moonshine grid) and we’ll be hosting writing workshops galore! The summer will kick off on July 14, and it will run through to August 22. The summer series is for all yeah write participants, so you can bring your fiction, poetry, micro-fiction, personal essays, and other writing to our summer grid. Each week, we will bring you articles on specific writing-related topics, with the goal of helping everyone in the yeah write family become better writers.

Along with our summer grid, we are also offering three levels of writing workshops, including the opportunity to work on your writing one-on-one with Suzanne or me. You can read all the juicy details about the summer series here—or go straight to registration. The summer series is open to everyone, so be sure to tell all your writer friends!

This is the badge you are looking for

Over in the right sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:

moonshine

Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
