It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open

Because I believe in being helpful, here is your reminder to buy your mother a fistful of tulips or perhaps take her out for prime rib. Word out on the street is that there is some sort of holiday celebrating mothers, and I thought I’d spread the news. At the very least, get her a card. Or better yet – make her a card! Mothers love homemade stuff (bonus points if you use macaroni). If you don’t have a mother or were raised by wolves, disregard this PSA and head straight for the next paragraph.

Give your mom a big ol’ jug of moonshine

At yeah write we need a place to blow off steam: welcome to that place. The moonshine is the natural outgrowth of yeah write’s wonderful community of writers who needed a place for their looser posts. Maybe these posts didn’t fit the word count requirement. Maybe they didn’t fit the prompt. Maybe they were from May of 2005. Maybe they are simply photos of their pet iguanas. At the moonshine, we welcome all posts, with absolutely no rules. Well, except for the one: no commercial or sponsored posts. Whew. Now we can relax.

Family-free doesn’t apply here

Hey, a place for your Mother’s Day posts! We’re so awesome at the moonshine that even though the rest of yeah write is celebrating family-free month, we kept this corner safe to bring your loved ones. If you’ve been dying to write a post about your mother-in-law’s bunions or any other relatives’ peccadillos, here is where you may do so. The moonshine is rule-free and we like it that way.

This is the badge you are looking for.

Over in the right sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:

moonshine

Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
