It’s the weekend, so the moonshine grid is open.

During the month of October, I make it a point to read at least one scary book in preparation for Halloween. On a camping trip a few years back I read aloud some Edgar Allan Poe around the fire. Another year I dusted off an old Stephen King paperback I hadn’t read since high school. Last year, I picked up a terrifying German novel as a souvenir of my trip to New York. Would you believe I have yet to read any scary books this October? Please send me any suggestions, as I’d better get on it – Halloween time’s a-coming!

Here’s some more of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, to help us count down!

Can we get a little moonshine to celebrate?

Moonshine is where we celebrate the weekend with bathtub gin and a little blogging get-together. We link up whatever we fancy; posts without word count limitations, no subject matter specifications – heck, even older posts can hang out here! Then, we visit each other, comment, and make merry! The only rule: no commercial or commercially sponsored posts. We’re keeping it real here.

This is the badge you are looking for.

Over in the right sidebar is a list of yeah write badges containing the codes you need to satisfy the backlink requirement (also called a permalink) of the Inlinkz app. The badge for the moonshine looks like this:

Under the badge is a few lines of code. Copy that exactly then paste it into the “text” or HTML view of your post editor. If you don’t copy it exactly, you will get an error message from the Inlinkz app. If you get confused or your browser is uncooperative, visit the Inlinkz step-by-step instructions here. If all else fails, contact Inlinkz customer support.
